Imagine Orem Minecraft Contest
Sharpen those pickaxes! It's time to compete in the Imagine Orem Minecraft Contest.

Welcome to the 2018 “Imagine Orem” Minecraft Competition! This is a building competition open to all ages. The goal is to create downtown Orem how you envision it in the future! You can choose to focus on a few buildings at a specific intersection, or if you’re feeling extra ambitious you can create a whole downtown district!

Judging will be based on the following criteria:

  • How well it incorporates different uses (housing, shopping, offices & workplaces, parks, recreation, nature)
  • How well it solves a problem (e.g. pollution, crime, traffic congestion, etc.)
  • Overall design & creativity
  • Incorporation of green infrastructure (trees, parks, landscaping)
  • Aesthetics (beauty, style, colors / textures used)
